The Opus

The Opus ‘Mulliner Edition’ is an exquisite £12,000 handcrafted book that has been created with the Bentley aficionado in mind. It is the official Centenary 100-year celebratory book. Only a select few will ever experience this special piece, with copy 1 notably owned by Mr. Bernie Ecclestone. ‘BC9 2BG’ will go down in history as being the one selected from 151 Fastbacks produced by Bentley.

Copy No.2 of ‘The Opus’ (pictured above) will be presented with the car and included as part of the vehicle’s sale.

‘The Opus’ is provided along with other notable items, such as the Mulliner records, original handbook and original tool kit & box, amongst others. We have also created our own photo book, which has been carefully crafted from the same Connolly Vaumol leather hide that features on the interior trim. The book’s purpose is to tell the story of the Bentley’s restorative journey.

The two-and-a-half-year ‘body-off’ restoration took place at our state-of-the-art workshops. From the chassis to the smallest component, the Bentley was brought back to life with care and attention. With renowned Bentley specialists (Padgett Motor Engineers) being commissioned to rebuild the engine, gear box & differential. All these aspects combined, resulted in a car commended so highly on its condition that it was handpicked to feature in the Bentley Centenary by Opus.
