Richards of England are proud to offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the experience of bringing a Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 litre back to life. The base car has been inspected both before purchase and on arrival by our highly experienced team. We can confirm the important matching of all numbers, not just the engine. The car is an original and highly desirable “black (paint) with red (interior)” car.
Our restoration costs include the sourcing of all replacement parts (highest quality available). Combined with the use of traditional techniques to preserve those irreplaceable and unique items on the vehicle. We aim to restore 887475, so that it hones as much originality as possible, delivering something that is truly special.
Jaguar E-Type projects of this nature rarely become available, especially at this price point, or available at all. This is a fantastic investment and ownership opportunity for the future custodian. The option of regular visits to our impressive premises allows you to feel part of the build. You will experience your ‘E-type’ come to life between our on-site workshops. For example, the body shell being ‘lead loaded’ and filed to perfection following the fabrication works. The correct leather being used, so that it feels and smells as if it was just being delivered in 1962. All of which make for a memorable experience.
Please see our website for photos of all our current restorations. We have just completed a comprehensive restoration on car number ‘120’ a RHD flat floor example, where you can see further references to our restoration ethos.
We currently have a build slot to begin a project in 2020. Whether you are UK based, or a mainland European client, we offer enclosed vehicle transportation. This fully covered in / insured lorry will transport your completed vehicle to your home address. Where we can personally meet you to hand over the car and unveil your restored Jaguar. We would be happy to invite you to our premises and spend time going through everything we have to offer. Paul, our company owner welcomes your enquiry.
887475 can also be purchased separately as a base car at an attractive price of £55,000 (Total Sale Price).
